    Description

    Suitable for ALL abilities and ages. You do not need to be fast or super athletic - in fact, the slower you are the greater the benefit of this session

    For those that are on the fence or unsure exactly what the session is about:

    It is a ‘coached’ session, where you will learn (and be coached) proper running ‘form’, proper dynamic warm up and also do some actual running. The running aspect is not about ‘mileage’ but taking proper form into a session that will either work on the Lactic system (adds speed to your running) or alatic system (works on your finishing kick). The running sessions are fun to do with your fellow group members and are all within the confines of the track.

    The picture shows your energy systems….

    Aerobic work builds your endurance – this should constitute the majority of your weekly mileage.

    Lactic builds your speed…thus doing work on this adds to your endurance giving you ‘speed endurance’.

    Alactic work perfects your finishing kick.
