Tough old route
Muddy and boggy and ups and down and rain and wind distance made this trail so hard but so enjoyable. Even if it was a sunny day the trail alone is very clever and has great inclines and declines and terrains to keep the mind entertained. Such a hard slog and tough on legs , but so enjoyable. Thank you and see you next time

Route is fantastic and well marked however glad I had the GPX file downloaded as needed it as I got towards Bodfari.

Amazing route, very challenging but worth it!
Great trail. Well marked and gpx file keeps you on track. Overall - amazing but brutal race. However, after running 53km i was expecting more of a finish than a guy standing there with a note pad saying "thats it, youre done"
Very dissapointed at the finish. Making the ultra that little bit longer and taking you down to ponderosa and having a proper finish there would be way more exciting. Also the medal is pretty poor for a brutal 53km race. Everything was great until the 53rd km and beyond.
No frills, no fuss event, all about the running, not the social media. Love it, keep it up.
Maybe 2 loos at the start would be better?!
Checkpoints/aide stations were very basic, CO3 was out of water when I got there which is rather unforgivable

Proper, fair kit check. Well marked route if you are paying attention and have downloaded the gpx as well! Took me an hour longer than a road half marathon

A definite need to be able to read a map, we found it very easy to lose the Offa's Dyke path in parts.
Those tough climbs reward you with some amazing views, simply beautiful.
Great trail, but the way isn't very well marked by the national trail signage.

Well organised race. Great to have transport back. Great facilities at the start.
Communication has been very difficult. Several attempts made to send messages and emails but never got a response. Why not? Is there a different way to contact out-fit that we are missing?
