My First 10K - Definitely beginner friendly, well organised and a lovely route
I would recommend this race. It’s my first, other than Saturday park runs. There was a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, everyone was very friendly. Sherwood Pines is gorgeous scenery and whilst it’s a bit hilly in places, as you’d expect on a trail run, there’s a lovely 2k downhill section in the middle :-) I was a bit nervous being a beginner, but I didn’t need to worry, everything was clear and easy to understand, including the route markings. I finished middle of the pack, but there was a real range of running paces, so I think whatever your pace, it would work for you, as a beginner or more advanced. Thanks for a great race :-)
