Can I wear headphones at this event?

As part of our duty to protect runners attending this event we have prohibited the use of 'in-ear' music earbuds, 'over the head' headphones and all musical devices that impair the users attention to other runners, traffic and dangers whilst running. Our event route includes roads that are still being used by vehicles and public pathways that are still usable by other members of the public who are not in attendance of the event. The only musical device that is usable on this event is 'bone-conducting' head phones upon the agreement of the race organisers prior to the event day. Yours and others safety is paramount.

Can I cancel my place on this event?

We have an option to transfer your place to another person up until the week of the event, please contact us directly on calne.leisurecentre@wiltshire.gov.uk for more info

Is this event any good for first time runners?

This is the perfect event for new-to-running attendees. With the friendly atmosphere, welcoming crowd and a nice flat, countryside running environment it is the perfect starting point for your journey into future running events.
