Question 4

Bag Drop

Accepted Answer

You are welcome to leave your bag at the school hall. However, this is done at your own risk and discretion. The team will not handle or look after your bags and you will be responsible for labelling them clearly.

Question 5

Facilities

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, there are no changing facilities available at this site so we recommend arriving ready to run!

Question 6

Parking

Accepted Answer

There is ample parking available but this will be located a good 10-minute walk from the school. The parking is off-road and on firm fields. Please drive carefully if you have a low-slung car and please follow the guidance of the parking officials.

Please do not park on the road through Stebbing. Parking on the main road impedes race traffic and runners, severely compromising the safety of runners who may still be finishing when you wish to leave the event. In the past, we have had some complaints from Stebbing residents who have been blocked in so please park considerately. Race marshals will ask you to move on if you attempt to park here and runners not complying with this request will be disqualified.

We request that you allow the majority of runners to finish before you exit the car parks. If you do need to leave whilst a significant number of runners are still finishing, then you may be asked to leave the car parks heading away from Stebbing High Street - this is for the safety and benefit of those still running.

Question 7

Toilets

Accepted Answer

We will have both portable toilets and a number of school toilets available for use. The portaloos tend to get quite busy, so if the queue starts building up, please do remember that you can also use the school toilets.

Question 8

Headphones

Accepted Answer

Only bone conducting headphones are permitted at this event.
If you are seen to be wearing in-the-ear or over-the-ear headphones by our Race Team or an England Athletics Adjudicator, then you are at risk of being disqualified.

Question 25

Accepted Answer

We do not offer refunds of race entry fees for illness, injury, or any other reason. In much the same way as you would not expect a refund for a theatre ticket if you were unable to attend, we are unable to offer refunds for race entries sold.

Question 27

Race Number

Accepted Answer

Your race number will be available to collect from Race HQ on the morning of the race.

Whilst we will have a fantastic team on site to facilitate this, we still ask that you please allow plenty of time to make your collection before the race begins.

Please remember to complete your medical information on the reverse of your number before you race. This is a life-saving racing requirement for your own safety.

Attaching your race bib
We will provide safety pins so that you can fix your race number in place. Your race bib must be secured and visible on your front so that race marshals and team can direct you correctly around the course. This is also the best place for the timing chip to connect with the timing mats for that all important time and assists the team with any post-race queries on our video analysis

Download a copy of your booking confirmation
If you are a relatively late entry and have registered close to race day or if you need to collect a new race bib for any reason, then we recommend taking a screenshot of your booking confirmation email with your details on it to present to the team on the day. We are lucky to race in this location but internet and phone signals can be difficult.
