In honour of the Christmas Trip races organised by Sri Chinmoy and the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team from 1970 to the present day in exotic locations around the world, we present THE CHRISTMAS TRIP RACES.

There are a total of 7 races.

Age categories

There are twelve age categories:

Men: Under 16, 17-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

Women: Under 16, 17-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

Individual Results

Results will be published on the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team site after each race.

Race Course

The 1 mile, 2 mile, 5K and 10K races can be run on a course of your own choice adhering to local regulations on safety and social distancing. The course should be accurately measured or you can use a running app (strava, fitbit etc). Please submit an accurate and exact time - hours:minutes:seconds

Race Dates

Each race has been named after one of the many Christmas Trip locations where races were held in Sri Chinmoy's presence. The race dates are as follows:

Race 1: THE FESTIVE FIJI 5 (five kilometres) - Friday December 25th

Race 2: THE KATHMANDU 2 (two miles) - Monday December 28th

Race 3: THE SAN JUAN 1 (one mile) - Wednesday December 30th

Race 4: THE CAPE TOWN 10 (ten kilometres) - Friday January 1st

Race 5: THE CEBU 2 (two miles)- Monday January 4th

Race 6: THE BALI BOLT (one mile) - Wednesday January 6th

Race 7: THE CHIANG MAI 5 (five kilometres) -  Saturday January 9th

Submitting Times

Runners can run their race anytime in the 48 hours before the published race time (8pm GMT Race Day). Each runner should submit their time here on Eventrac. Runners can submit their time from 1:00am Race Day (GMT) until 6:00pm the following day (GMT).
