High To Low - It's Downhill All The Way!

I'm suffering from Bronchiectasis (you'll have to Google it!) at the moment so my breathing isn't too good. So this run is a great way to go fast womith expending too much energy.

Brilliant event - highly recommend!

Thank you Runable and the organisers for The Descent 10k 2025 - what a fantastic event! It was really well organised, and everyone was lovely and friendly. The course was epic! Beautiful scenery and a perfect opportunity to smash any previous 10k PB! I’ve recommended it to all my running friends, and loads of us have signed up for next year already. See you in 2026, I’ll be looking forward to it!

One of a kind. Still grinning 24 hours later

A bus takes you up onto the top of the Pennines and then you run DOWNHILL for > 90% of the 10km.
It's a steady consistent gradient down .
If only running was always this easy
