It’s great to hear you had a lot of laughs along the way and that the friendly atmosphere came across. That’s exactly what we hope for — people working things out together and having a bit of an adventure with friends. You’re also absolutely right about **London**. With a city that size there will inevitably be some larger roads involved depending on the route choices people make, but it’s always interesting seeing the different ways teams decide to tackle it. On the **kit point**, that’s a fair comment and one we understand. The reason we communicate it quite firmly beforehand is that we can’t really make final decisions on what will or won’t be needed until the **actual event day**, once we’ve seen the conditions. By that point, of course, it’s too late for people to go and find things they might need. The items themselves are all very small, simple bits of kit — things like a foil blanket or a light — and they’re generally useful things for any runner or anyone who spends time outdoors to have anyway. But we do appreciate the feedback and will keep looking at how we word that part of the briefing.
