A flat, seafront 10k or 5k along the Kent coast

Back in 2024 offering a 10k or 5k seafront run. This year the Rotary Club of Minster-on-Sea and Sporting Events UK have teamed up to bring you this great event.

The Island Run has been taking place for over 40 years in various formats and raises money for local charities in the area. The event takes place along the seafront of Sheerness and Minster-on-Sea, which makes it ideal for those chasing a PB or great for beginners as well. We are sure you will love this route, which is sure to attract good numbers of runners and supporters!

Every finisher will get a unique medal specially commissioned for the event.

Toilet facilities. Car parking available nearby. 

10k Entry fee:
Advanced entries: £21 affiliated club members, £23 unaffiliated
On-the-day (subject to space): £30

5k Entry fee:
Advanced entries: £15 affiliated club members, £17 unaffiliated
On-the-day (subject to space): £25

ADVANCED ENTRIES CLOSE 1PM THE WEDNESDAY PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for the 10km race is 15 years on the day and the minimum age for the 5k is 11 years on the day.
