Next Race: 16/05/2027
Glebe Football Club, Foxbury Avenue, Chislehurst, BR7 6SD
Fantastic race, beautiful woodland and trail route (with a little bit of A20 thrown in), great marshalls and organisation.
My 2nd time running this race and I will definitely be back. It's friendly with great start line facilities, well marshalled and signposted. It's an undulating course, and a bit easy to go out too fast for the first couple of miles and then regret it. There are a few places which are tricky underfoot (narrow paths cutting through meadow and woodland which are very uneven), my knees struggled with the sharp downhills for the last third of the race. But the woodland and trail parts are glorious, even with all the uphills. Thank you to all the volunteers and organisers! And a big thank you to Paul Palmer from Chislehurst Massage and Rehabilitation who was giving post run massages with proceeds to the Maypole Charity, for a painful but valuable 10 min leg pummelling!
Great cause. Great day!
The sweeper marshalls couple were fantastic! Kind, friendly and encouraging.
All the other marshalls were great as well.
Facilities and organisation was good.
Thanks for a great day overall.
Inspiring
I hand it to the organisers to run this event in a busy area, loads of marshals, great parking. I will come back and do it again without hesitation. Accessible easily from A20/M20 what's not to like!
A really enjoyable and well managed event.
Will definitely sign up again next year.
Great trail run
Really well organised and friendly too plus excellent value for money.
Well marshalled
Nice course. Well signed and marshalls were great
Great local run for anyone in south London.
Very friendly and well marshalled event that I keep coming back to.
Excellent Marshalls
Course was too short according to Strava and the changing rooms should have been available.
Great
Loved the course, brilliant facilities at the start and well organised. However the course was not quite 13.1 miles, I ran with my friend and my partner and all 3 of us had just under 13 miles on our Garmins.
Great run
The volunteers were great. Really friendly and encouraging. There were lots of them which was very helpful when winding through the wood. They popped up everywhere.
Expertly organised and very friendly race
We’ll run race for my first ever half marathon
The less hills next time the better, they’re bloody hard.
