Hard but very enjoyable
Well organised half. Stunning scenery and very friendly atmosphere due to the small size of this event (there were less participants than in my local parkrun). Narrow uneven path make it difficult and I would not recommend it to someone who hasn't done a half before. I like that you got the t-shirt before the run so you can wear it there and also the stops stocked up with salty and sweet snacks. The only problem I encountered was a flooded path. Was that due to the tide or did I miss a turn?

This was my 2nd time. Really enjoyable course, and the support at aid stations and finish is always so friendly. Super event, well done.

I thought that the two water stations were too early in the run - would have preferred water stations in the latter part of the run - otherwise excellent run.

Absolutely loved it. The wind was brutal, but I really enjoyed it. The scenery was stunning. I would do the 75-mile ultramarathon if I thought I could do it. I've already recommended it to multiple people and will be back next year. I doubt that I will want to do larger events again after this experience. This was better in every way. I think a couple more signs would've been helpful, as I did get a bit lost towards the end!

Windswept beauty
Great trail race. Spectacular views of the estuary. Overall, not too hilly.
Very good for beginners and really encouraging to all levels of runners. I found it really tough but all the organisers were so lovely and supportive

This was a great half marathon event. Stunning scenery, especially when the sun comes out. A mostly flat course, with some very muddy spots, it's a great half. Very well organised by a friendly team. Thanks Pete & Bev!
