Question 1

What are the group discounts and how can I get them?

Accepted Answer

Use the bulk purchase option to enter your group and a discount will automatically be applied at checkout.

Enter:
 10-19 people for a 10% discount,
 20-39 people for a 15% discount

If you have a group of 40+ please contact us directly for a 20% discount!

Entries need to be for the same event, but do not need to be for the same distances.

The discount options apply to all of our running, walking and mountain bike events.

Question 2

Can I ride an ebike to this event?

YES!  We aim to be as inclusive as possible and hope that riders of all levels will enjoy taking part in each of our mountain bike events!

Question 3

Can we camp at this event?

Accepted Answer

Campervans and tents are most welcome.  Basic camping is available for £7.50 per person per night and is available to purchase alongside your entry or separately via our Eventrac shop

Question 4

Am I allowed to wear fancy dress?

Absolutely!  We love seeing peoples costumes but please make sure they're safe for you to complete the event in!

Question 5

Can I borrow equipment?

Accepted Answer

No. We ask that all entrants are fully equipped and understand how to use their equipment prior to taking part in the event.

Question 6

Is it possible to get lost?

Accepted Answer

The route will be fully way-marked with appropriate signage including distance markers. As long as you keep focused you’ll be fine. Marshals will be present at appropriate locations and sweepers will pick up behind the last entrants.

Question 7

What if I want to enter with my mates?

Accepted Answer

If you want to enter and take on the route with your mates to gain a sense of achievement then that’s awesome.

Our events are just as much about inclusion, accessibility and participation as they are about competing so please do bring a crowd and share the challenge together - the more people you enter at one time, the larger the group discount too!

Question 8

Can I get water and snacks along the route?

We ask that you are self sufficient for the distance you are intending to ride but there will be water and sweets available at many of checkpoints should you run out. The half way checkpoint on the main loop will also accommodate the ‘Miles’ tea stop. Here you can treat yourself to a brew from our favourite local tea and coffee blenders.

Question 9

What if I run out of time?

Accepted Answer

All riders will complete the main 20 mile loop. This can take you until 4pm if required. If you are hoping to do the extra loop once or twice then there is a cut off time of 12:30pm. This gives you 3.5 hours to complete the first half of the main loop. Riders arriving at half way or back from their first extra loop lap after 12:30pm will not be permitted to go out on the extra loop and will be asked to finish the second half of the main loop.

Question 10

I’m under 18, can I ride on my own?

Accepted Answer

No, we ask that any entrants under the age of 18 ride with an adult on a ratio of 1:3.
