Love running with Zig Zag - such an inclusive and encouraging organisation, and the medals .. . the coffee and cake ... incredible aid station; friendly marshals and this time - a new venue.

I love the flexibility of the Zig Zag events, there's no distance or pace pressure, just a lovely atmosphere that welcomes all. And great cake too!

Well organised and very friendly run. Great parking and other facilities - always better when you have proper loos! Lovely choice of proper cakes and hot drinks.

That was my first running event experience. The atmosphere was amazing, even for beginners like myself. Thetford forest scenery were extraordinary, fresh air and beautiful surroundings made my running more enjoyable. Highly recommended Zig Zag Running, well organised and you get a cake at the end of your run. Thank you for a great experience.

A really lovely race venue, with brilliant marshals, easy parking and really well organised. Amazing selection of cakes at the end which was most welcomed and appreciated.

I entered the marathon distance but ended up running 27.8 miles so be prepared to have a little extra in your tank once you hit 26.2 miles. A shorter ‘mile out and mile back’ for lap 8 would have been great (I was at around 24 miles at the turn around at the end of lap 7) but understand that might not be easy to organise.

I ran in road running trainers, but the course is really all off road/trails. It was beautiful being amongst all the woodlands and trees, with the chorus of birds as your soundtrack, a great way to spend a Sunday morning. However, if you’re usually a road runner then it’s a little different underfoot to pounding the streets and trail shoes might be more beneficial and offer more support over the uneven ground.

A really friendly and welcoming race and would highly recommend this and would love to run another zig zag race in the future.

Loved the options, loved the course, loved the coffee and cake! We'll be back.

Would highly recommend for all abilities. Covers every distance and such a welcoming environment and chilled atmosphere with a scenic route. Cakes at the end are amazing. Will definitely be back next year

My first half marathon and the location was amazing, if not a little muddy.
But the event was very well organised and the marshals were lovely.

Whilst I appreciate the forest has a no bin policy for an event as this were there are gel packets/coffee cups / cake tissues some bins would prevent some of the rubbish dropped out of pockets
