Very cold waiting for race to start. Would be nice to know in advance that jackets etc. Can be left and taken back to start.

Super friendly Marshals. Really useful to be able to keep something warm on whilst waiting for the start then be able to pop into a box to be transferred to 6to finish for picking up later...would be good to make everyone aware of this though as some runners looked pretty chilly.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. My first half marathon for 4 years and couldn’t have picked a better one in my opinion. Already booked for next year. Also my wife who was patiently waiting for me to finish said everyone was really nice to talk too. Also a lovely shower in the leisure centre before a 2.5hr journey home was much appreciated.

The weather wasn’t brilliant for us runners so it must of been terrible for everyone on water and cheering stations and all whom were outdoors
Cyclists, runners and walkers were very friendly as well as everyone else
What a brilliant race in a beautiful surroundings
