My first ever Triathlon
I couldn't have asked for a better experience for completing my first Triathlon. Perfect weather, friendly staff and spectators and encouraging competitors. Everything ran smooth and despite me being nervous everything was fully explained. I 100% will return in 2022
Fabulously Organised Event
The personalised bib numbers is a great idea as when the fantastic marshals gave encouragement they new my name, and this is actually really helpful and keeps motivation up.
The music added to the atmosphere, but some of the songs that were playing contained lyrics a bit inappropriate for kids.

We have been to 5 Sportiva events and all of them fantastic
A fun event and well organised
Only thing I would suggest is maybe to have more marshalls for the kids events. Ideally you need one on every turn, I witnessed several kids going the wrong way, wrong side of the cone, over the wrong timing mat purely because the marshall was too far away to be seen or they were picking up a fallen sign and not marshalling. I realise the marshalls are volunteers but the fact you have to sign up for the whole morning is off putting. Maybe advertise that you can marshall for as little or long as you can. I would marshall for some of the kids races but would not be able to marshall for the races my children were in as I need to be available to help them and meet them at the finish line.
The 2 boys on the chip pick up point were fantastic and the ladies on registration were fab too! Medals were great and organisation was good.
Great event, atmosphere and opportunity for little ones to join
Very relaxed but also professionally run.
Great fun, safe (traffic free) and enjoyable. I know people who didn’t want to do it because they preferred outdoor swim, but for a weak swimmer it was great.

Really friendly, welcoming event!
I did the Go Tri and loved it! There were a few places where the lap direction (running) or lap number needed to be clearer. The finish was a bit of an anti-climax as it's quite hidden away with tricky viewing for spectators and a family member pointed me to the medals table where I helped myself. But I appreciate these events rely on volunteers and I'm grateful for their support and efforts.

I have done several Sportiva Events and they never fail to deliver. Looking forward to doing more next season
