Overview
Commencing at 10am on Sunday 14th June 2026, the High Easter 10k is a fast and flat single-looped course held on quiet, country lanes, starting and finishing in the picturesque village of High Easter. This event is well known for attracting some wonderful community vibes and super support for those who take to the tarmac! An Essex Championship race and perfect for runners of all abilities.

This race supports three amazing charities:
St Mary's Church High Easter is a community hub and a vital part of village life.
Monday Muster is a voluntary dementia group operating in the village of High Easter.
Braintree Food Bank is a lifeline to many local families affected by the cost-of-living crisis.
You will have the opportunity to make a donation whilst booking your entry.
Donations will be split between the charities.

Required eligibilty to take part in the Essex County Championships
Please note, you can also enter this race without taking part in the championships.
• You must have a current England Athletics affiliation and be able to provide a valid URN number
• You must have been born in Essex or resident in the county for over 9 months
• You must not have taken part in another county championship event (other than Essex) in this calendar year

The village of High Easter is 7 miles northwest of Chelmsford, a short drive from both the A1060 and the B184 as they pass through the Rodings. Off street parking available free of charge close to race HQ.
