The St Helena Hospice Half Marathon is back! And this year, it's bigger than ever...
After the incredible success of the 2025 half marathon, we're adding a 10k race to the 2026 line-up, too. Both races are a great way to support St Helena Hospice whilst keeping active.

Running for a Cause
St Helena Hospice is a Colchester based charity which provides specialist palliative and end of life care to local people facing incurable illness in north east Essex, supporting them, their families, friends and carers. They also provide help for those struggling with grief following the death of a loved one, regardless of where or how they died. As a charity, they rely heavily on the help and generosity of their fundraisers, donors and volunteers. Every step you take, every mile you run and every pound you raise will empower them to continue their work in your community.
HEROES Race Entry
If you select to register for the Half Marathon race on a HEROES ticket, your entry will include a donation that could help cover the cost of providing a family facing the death of a loved one with half an hour of support from a family support worker. If you select to register for the 10k race on a HEROES ticket you are covering the cost of a 30 minute advice and support session from a St Helena counsellor. It's the small things that can make the biggest difference.

Directions
Race HQ: Located close to the parking and main start of race. This can be found on Low Road Grass Car Park outside Dovercourt bay Lifestyles CO12 3TA.
Parking: Harwich & Dovercourt High School located at the lower entrance of Hall Lane, CO12 3TG. There is also parking at Mayflower Primary School, Main Road, Harwich CO12 4AG.
