RTTS Brighton - Bus Information

IF YOU HAVE PRE-BOOKED THE BUS SERVICE:

  • Please check the bus list here and make a note of which bus you have been allocated and what the boarding time is
  • The important columns are the 2 columns in bold - 'Bus Number' & 'Bus Boarding Time'.  The others are for your information
  • Buses will leave Hove Lawns between 06:25-06:45 (your boarding time will be 10mins before these times)
  • The journey time to the start venue is approximately 50 minutes and we have allowed a further 10 minutes for parking, disembarking, etc 
  • Your bus has been allocated according to your start time so that you have enough time to register, use the loos, etc.  
  • Please note that the buses are full and it is not possible to change your bus allocation
  • If for any reason there is a delay with the buses or a traffic incident, do not worry! You can just start a little later than planned. We will always wait for any delays

WHAT TO DO

  • THE PICK-UP POINT IS ON KINGSWAY OUTSIDE KING ALFRED LEISURE CENTRE CAR PARK, Kingsway, Hove  Brighton, BN3 2WW
  • THE FINISH IS HALF A MILE FURTHER ALONG THE COAST  Hove Lawns, Hove, Brighton, BN3 2FR
  • Go to the car park of your choice  Car Parks near to Hove Lawns – be sure to check the charges & maximum duration of your chosen car park before race day!
  • Arrive, park & make your way to the bus pick-up point - there will be UltraViolet Crew there to meet you
  • Make sure you arrive in time for your boarding time as buses will leave exactly on time and cannot wait for latecomers
  • Find your bus (there will be a numbered sign 1-3 in the window) but don't board - wait for the Crew members to check off your name
  • Wear/carry any items that you want us to transport back to the finish for you. Remember we can only accept small bags to transport back to the finish - we cannot accept suitcases
  • You will be dropped right inside Christs Hospital School (START VENUE) 
  • There are no toilets open at the bus pick-up point at that time in the morning, so please be sure to find a service station or such-like before you arrive
