Enabling Pre-Pay Tickets

Pre-pay tickets can provide several benefits, which are particularly useful for charity and corporate entry groups. Pre-pay tickets can be set up, so that a party can buy a certain amount of tickets upfront, and fill in the details later. If you have a corporate team attending your event, or a charity group/fundraising team participating, this can be a great way to enable them to pre-pay for their group, and send out individual links to each participant to fill out their details. 

For smaller groups of friends, however, this may not be suitable. As there is less or no benefit of paying together and they may already know their details, so you should avoid delaying detail entry if it’s not by an official group or corporation.

Step 1: Click ‘Manage’ on the event you want to allow Pre-Paid tickets for. 

Step 2: Go to Races, and click ‘Edit’ on the relevant event. 

Step 3:  Tick the ‘Allow pre-paid tickets’ box. 

Make sure you are happy with allowing people to fill in their details at a later point to their entry purchase when you choose this option. 

When someone buys a prepaid ticket, they will get notified with links to send to the participants they would like details from. So they can do it themselves!

You can also edit the content of the Pre-Pay email that goes out to the buyer, by navigating to the ‘Emails’ section, then clicking ‘Edit’ on the Pre-Pay email.
