This is a fantastic event - always well organised, with a stunning route, plenty of friendly and encouraging marshals and sufficient water stations. The atmosphere is upbeat and there is a buzz at both the start and finish (where beer and plenty of delicious cakes were on offer.) It was also a fundraiser for KSS who were present so it was good to help contribute to this deserving cause. The weather was not great this year and the route was slippery in many places but this did not detract from a splendid event.

Next time i'll listen to your advise & wear trail shoes

You can't plan for the rain, but such a well organised and well supported race. As a local it makes me very proud to take part and see so many people coming into the village! Great work Waddies!

Would have been really nice if the end of the race and the brass band could have been located nearer to each other for a better race finish atmosphere but I'm not sure how you could achieve this without moving the finish

This is comfortably the best event I have been to for the money. Free water, beer, cakes, medal, t-shirt & brass band. Have the option to donate your medal and t shirt too. Will continue to go back year on year.

Really enjoyed the challenge. Great scenery. Appreciate all the support from all the volunteers involved. Made for a nice day out!

It's not easy but the run is so enjoyable, if you're not likely to win (like me) it's such a nice race go just enjoy.

Always so well organised and lovely encouraging marshals on the course. Great cake and also a beer at the end if you drink. Lovely medal and a t shirt too! It's a tough distance and course but I still love Bewl!
