A friendly team was running the event. As last year. A good fast bike route. I'll be back

Well organised fun event

Great event - that was well organised.

Weather conditions were terrible (so lots of Type 2 fun)- but the event organiser and BTF official took account of that, and so it still felt a safe and welcoming race. (able to leave clothes in plastic bag to keep them dry, and cutting short the medal ceremony so we could get home and warm up)

Bike route fast and flat in the right conditions (with limited traffic). Run route fun in the mud

I'd do it again next year

Super friendly event

This was my first ever triathlon and despite the horrendous weather conditions, I really enjoyed it. The support on the day was brilliant and everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Good Tri but getting expensive

Always good always well organised but now getting expensive and paying extra for the T-shirt smarts a bit, this year the shirt was pap sorry but others have been great back n front printed but this year considering we’re paying extra it felt very cheap

Thanks for your review, the cost of putting events on has been increasing each year but we have tried to absorb these increases where possible to not put price up. One option was to make the T-Shirts optional, because not everyone wants one. In the past we have had sponsors on the t-shirts printed on the back, but this year we were unable to secure a sponsor so no rear printing. It’s just a sign of the economic climate. We will take your comments on board. However we believe our event still represents good value for the entry fee.

Great event even in brutal conditions!!

Great event organised by great people for triathletes at all levels. The weather was brutal today but that’s just bad luck for the organisers and athletes which can’t be helped.

Good event shame about the weather

I know it is tough to know in advance but with the amount of rain we had the run spoilt a great event. The field was turning into a bog and the canal path was completely flooded and over grown.

Early Brigg Sprint Triathlon

A great way to start the year. It was all good. Unfortunately the weather was horrendous and had to wait a while till the last one on the bike arrived into the transition. I've bought a changing robe so that I am not shivering whilst waiting to take my bike etc back to the car.

Overall, a great event and will be doing this again next year when the entries are open for April 2025.

Please make the run a 5k and the grassy section was better than last year not having to loop about. Marshalls were fantastic as always so big thanks to them x

Very good, great Marshalls in appalling weather

One minor point, I didn’t know that the run had such off road / boggy parts to it. Good job I used my old trainers!
