Next Race: 20/06/2027
The Moor, Hawkhurst, Kent, TN18 4NX
Very hilly
Brilliant race very well organised and brilliantly marshalled. Atmosphere was very good. A very challenging course, but even more so in the heat we had
Very hot but enjoyable
Perhaps a 1st, 2nd, 3rd ribbon on the overall leaders medals, for the men and women in both the 5km &10km, like at the rye races…. Just so their medals are slightly different to everyone else’s…
My Favourite race
I love the atmosphere, everyone was so nice.
Closed roads too!
Some of the best cakes I've ever had too!
Challenging
Beautiful summer run!

Great atmosphere from the word go and very well organised
A well organised and enjoyable race
4 yr old fun runner. Amazing experience.
Looking forward to next year lol
Absolutely brilliant. My first 10k in 4 years. Would definitely do again.
Thank you to all the organisers and helpers. Superb effort. Made it very straight forward for us runners.
A great race but needs improvement in a few areas.
I really enjoyed this race but I think that there are some areas that need improvement.
1. At the finish there was a toddler helping to hand out medals. She was blocking my way and I nearly squashed her as I went through the finish. This could have been a nasty accident for her and for me. I don’t think it’s appropriate to have a toddler in this area at all.
2. As I understand it the second timing mat is involved in giving the finishing time, so runners should - theoretically - keep running till they’re over the second mat. Those giving out the medals were very close to the second mat. If you’re sprinting for the finish then you need a bit of space to put the brakes on! It would have been better to have had the medal distribution a bit further away from the second finishing mat than it was.
3. If I’m doing a race then when I get to a water station I expect to grab a cup of water and go. When I got to the water station there was no water to grab! - so I didn’t have any. Some runners had stopped to pour water for themselves from a jug! Surely the water station should be better organised than this?
4. My husband, an experienced running competitor, observed that the first two runners to finish took the wrong route around the field at the finish due to inadequate marshalling.
Despite the above issues overall I was very impressed by the event and will be doing it again - and also recommending it to other runners.
Great event, great atmosphere and wonderfully hilly
Undulating is running code for hilly. Would be good to warn runners about the steep climb up through the orchard.
A lovely run
A really enjoyable, well organised run from start to finish with Serada fitness warm up and medal, water, cake etc. at the end.
Excellent !
Lovely locals & delicious homemade cake . Brilliant organising !
Great run, lovely course, great marshalls
Excellent and fun
Great community event & very well organised
Excellent event & no quibbles EXCEPT organisers need to set up two separate queues for registering for the 5k and the 10k race.
There was a bit of confusion this morning & it wasn’t at all clear.
Great race with a friend community atmosphere
What an enjoyable run!
The organisation was on point from the super helpful marshalls at every turn to the cold water and beer/cake at the end! The medal was also pretty spectacular.
Friendly, Welcoming and Inclusive
Great enthusiasm from all involved. Very well organised. The kiddies run before-hand was a great idea!
