Always great events, really friendly helpful staff, well organised and go above on beyond in terms of the medal, snacks and drinks etc, really good value for money will always return and recommend to others

Grim up North runs are by far my favourite events! Only done 3 so far but loved each one. Location, volunteers, atmosphere, goodies are all amazing and the medals are the best! Thanks to everyone involved & I'm already looking forward to my next run.

Been attending grim events since 2021 and they always put on a great event, not just the atmosphere and value for money but the support and all the treats and great medals too.

What a day, took on The 10 miler today, everything was as expected, lots of friendly runners with lots of "well dones" as you passed others from all abilities and distances taken on
Even the juggling runners, no seriously!!!
Great bacon butty at the end and plenty of choice if snacks.

Friendly organisers and great banter all round.

Would highly recommend.

Low key fun race, less stressy than a big field marathon. Ok so you share the canal towpath with others so there’s a bit of weaving at times, but this is the nature of the route (not unlike how you’d share paths with others at park runs). Nice atmosphere at start and good camaraderie on course (which helps, especially if your race isn’t going well haha). Basic refreshments on course as indicated, were fine. Thanks for a good day!

These are great races for compelte beginners and seasoned runners alike. There's a no-fuss attitude to organisation (read the online material carefully), friendly marshalls, and the post-race treats are great. Loved the hot-dogs! Thanks, Team Grim!

I would have small bottles of water rather than paper cups so runners can take them with them.
