Fast!
I entered because it was Dulwich Runners club champs race. It was pretty scary how quickly everyone set off. Despite running my quickest 5k for a very long time (arthritic knees, 67 year old, blah blah) there were only 8 finishers behind me.
Good 5km race with fast course and great value for money
Well organised. Flat fast course
Love this race as always
Satisfying
Because of rainy weather maybe fewer runners than usual which made a bit more space
Love the Sri Chinmoy events! always friendly
Great run, really nice atmosphere
If you could sort the rain out for my time it would be appreciated!
Perfect spot for fast running
Nice friendly efficient
Perfect way to build up experience of racing 5km outside of busy Parkrun events..
I will come again if you don't mind waiting for an 86yo to finish
I don't need a medal but may I suggest your results might be in 5 year age groups instead of ten - it is so hard to run against those ten years younger!
Best 5K race in London
Great organisation, safe bag drop area, really friendly atmosphere, flat fast course for chasing down a PB, and amazing value for money, this is the best 5K race in London. Also attracts some of the best club runners in the South East so you can really test yourself against elite runners.
I love your events
I love your events, Battersea park is perfect. The standard is quite tough, which I like, though I reckon some beginners might be intimidated.
Competitive but with a remarkably friendly atmosphere
A perfect location for a competitive summer evening race. A simple format which the organisers have maintained for several years and which is very much appreciated by everyone who takes part.
A well organised, competitive race
Always an excellent race, fast course and friendly people!
A nice way to finish your das...
Great no-fuss race
Friendly and a potential PB course
Organisers are very welcoming. Good mix of fast club runners and regular runners. Perfect if you're trying to get a fast time. Flat course through the lovely Battersea Park. And inexpensive too. Would recommend for all levels of runners.
Well organised event for all ages but focus is more on setting PB than on having fun.
Happy to have tried it out and done the 5km rabbit run. However, there wasn't too much of a fun vibe : with a lot of athletics clubs present, it seemed more suited for intermediate to advanced runners trying to set PB.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone just wanting to have fun, stay fit and finish a 5km run.
