The atmosphere was really welcoming and supportive with friendly stewards who seemed to by there for a good time as well. A family friendly event, the director gave a tongue and cheek address before the race, passing things on to a gang of Morris dancers who got the race going. The course was well marked with hay bale obstacles and spectators who threw buckets of water onto the participants in the last 10 metres. The prize giving ceremony honoured not only the winners who deserved all the glory, but also the slowest couple, the heaviest couple and the couple with the most colourful leggings! It was a great day, I will be back next year!

Always a great atmosphere and friendly people! Just some constructive feedback that I hope can make this event even better.
Having done this event for a few years now, a more structured commencing of the race would be better. More time to mount “husbands” with a clear countdown - it usually is a little rushed and seems unorganised at this part! Perhaps a clear start line too as it tends to get crowded and unclear - makes it more fair.
I would also love there to be more of a ceremony at the end e.g. 1st, 2nd and 3rd medals typical of other competitions (alongside the hilarious novelty prizes!) - makes people feel recognised for training rather than leaving promptly, also provides more opportunity to socialise :)

Loved the event! Everyone was friendly and it was well-organised. Like that there were female fitting t-shirts too. There could have been a few more signs - entrance to registration, where you could leave your bags, but not a big issue. It would also be good if our times were emailed to us or put online after too.

We had a wonderful time as first-timers. The event was very supportive and welcoming to all. Very much appreciated the camaraderie.

I really appreciated getting female cut t-shirts rather than the standard unisex style. Perhaps it's

First time in Dorking which is a beautiful place. Really enjoyed the race which very well organised and everyone there was very friendly.

Really well organised, fantastic quirky event, keeping traditions alive. Really fun atmosphere, would recommend. Will be doing again next year!!

Would have been good to know that there was a bag drop near the start . I left my towel, coat and phone in the school
