Great half marathon!
Fantastic organisation!
Brilliant atmosphere, very well organised, lovely course! Training runs leading up to the event were great too, 10 minute PB!
Well organised and scenic
Enjoyable
A pity its t shirts not long sleeve tops which would suit February running. Cutting cost here is not great

Challenging but rewarding
Great race, tough hill
Fantastic race, well organized by the club with brilliant facilities, hilly for a 1st timer.. but once you're in!
Well organised
Fantastic marshals
Very well organised, excellent marshalls. Road closures were superbly managed.
Top work all around.
Very well organised and supported with lots of Marshall’s
Significantly undulating
Such a very well organised race over a challenging but scenic route. Some great support out on the course, I would definitely recommend this race!
Perfectly undulating PB course
Lovely half marathon with good countryside views and plenty of support on route, with excellent Marshalls. Some big hills, but plenty of downhills meaning course is great for a PB. Would not recommend to a beginner runner though due to the 3 hour cut off and said hills. Would be nice to have a 2 hour 30 pacer, and was good to be able to collect race number and T-shirt ahead of the event!
A lovely half marathon which I will politely call undulating!
A lovely half marathon with fantastic organisation and really friendly marshals. Its fair to say the course is undulating with a killer hill at the 8 mile mark! I will definitely be doing it again.
Great day
Tough
Can you flattern the hill at mile 8 lol
Great day, good organisation, very friendly villagers cheering and clapping, several bands - a choir, a reggae band, and free beer in the final mile. The Harriers smothered themselves in glory.
Great event and well organised.
I thought it was the best medal I have received after a run!
Good atmosphere, well organised race
Really appreciated the plentiful marshals (and their support) and the numerous water stops. Also the well organised bag drop and checking that we had all taken the correct bags at the end. Great to have changing facilities available and plenty of loos.
Only complaint was about the ambulance that crawled just ahead of us for a couple of miles during the race. Understand the need for health and safety, but exhaust fumes were unpleasant and off-putting, and proximity of moving vehicle to runners was sometimes intimidating, especially if you are a slower runner.
In all, though, positives outweighed the negatives by a long way. It was a very enjoyable event.
No toilets on the course for a half marathon is disgrace. Almost cried halfway, as I really needed to go. Saw many man going to bushes, but what to do for women. I don't think it was very difficult to put few toilet stations on the route.
Always a well run event, if a hard route.
