I have done this event for a good few years now and it is amazing. The venue is fantastic, the races are great. A good atmosphere with a friendly vibe.

For me, I would have liked more single track in laps 1and 2 but realize that with an event with so many participants this brings its own problems in hold ups !

Hyper competitive event at the sharp end bring top quality riders from all over the country to ride what always seems to be an incredible course from the hand-sized gravel to the flat out beach, or technical sand dunes... The whole weekend, just brilliant.

Please don’t give up, this was my 3rd BOTB and they get better and better.

I had so much fun and I'm slightly annoyed with myself for not having tried this race years ago! We got lucky with the weather, that really helps make the event village come alive. I'm looking forward to next year's event already

Really fun event, not to be underestimated, different surfaces, leg-sapping sand and some dune running all add up to make it harder than you might think.

A great early season race. What a venue, great dune riding, you will need to practice your technicality at least a very bit.

Much better than last year as there were no hold ups in the dunes. I didn't think the beach was as hard but there is nothing you can do about that. A fantastic event, well organised, friendly, fun, everything a bike race should be. Thank you to the whole team, you are brilliant

Not done this event since 2019, some things have changed, but not to the detriment of the event.
Loved it.

The event advertises a 3hr cut off but the results stop at 2.45. 3 hrs is also a bit stringent for more casual cyclists. Recommend 3hr 15.
