My 2nd year and I will be back. Stunning scenery, awesome event with a great atmosphere. Battle in the dark was such a great set up for the Sunday race. Can’t wait until Next year.

Can't recommend this enough. Fun and challenging and incredibly friendly event

The beach was ace not as scary I I'd thought as it was hard to get dropped if you worked hard. So glad I used my hard tail MTB with rigid forks as once off the beach I continually overtook gravel bikes where the riders couldn't handle the bumpy gravel or the sand dunes.
The best off road race I've done for uniqueness. Thanks

It changes every year yet the course only varies slightly. It's the weather that makes this do special really. I was at my fittest last year and didn't finish but at my worst this year and did. I have done every one of these and will move heaven and earth to do it again.

Superb organisation as always. Every year this event gets better, even when the weather doesn't play ball .

3 lap format worked really well. Entry into the single track on lap one was frustrating ( good luck sorting that one out ) would they maybe let you put another couple of lines in on that short section ? But overall brilliant, the best organised race in the country in my view.

I had wanted to camp (roof tent) but it obviously books up fast. Not knowing the site or area it would be helpful to maybe link up with some other options locally.

Some of the thorn/holly bushes could be cut back
