The uniqueness in the event lies in the planning that goes into the weekend. Both my kids race, I race, and my wife loves to see it all. Never does she feel bored, and it’s always the thing that we plan the first quarter of the year around. Thanks all for a great event and the weather was ace! Some extra BOTB bobble hats and mugs to purchase over the weekend would be great, but that’s about my only request.

Head wind was a killer again this year

I put a "maybe" for question 6 because I think such a huge field could be somewhat off-putting for beginners. Nothing can be done about that, just an explanation.

Having the split of the laps allowed for the faster riders to concentrate on their race without being bogged down by slower riders whilst on their 2nd lap. The change in course directions also allowed for the laps not to become repetitive. The only consistent part was the beach and unfortunately nobody can control headwinds!

Brilliant event the whole thing , there was alittle of a bottle neck off the beach and another of the gravel track into a sandy bank first lap , but hay I wasn’t worried I was tired ! But the course was brilliant a real mix and great doing the different circuits . And weather was amazing . Thanks
