Need to adjust the bottleneck on the first lap, turning off the track into the dune/forest.. either widen or have ‘A’ & ‘B’ route to avoid stopping for ‘3-4mins!!

I was 2nd to last in I think and I cannot thank the marshals and organisers enough for waiting and supporting me whilst I finished a challenge I set myself.
I would not class myself as a cyclist but this event made me feel welcome enough to have a go.

I would thoroughly recommend, its a hard but enjoyable event for all.

The 3 different format worked well from my perspective. Passing slower riders was all on wider tracks. Fantastic to ride so many of Pembrey's singletrack highlights. (the weather helped, but the event was awesome last year too).

Rider safety is a bit of an issue. Some of the crashes on the lap 1 beach peloton sounded brutal (I didn't see but was close-by). Don't know if any were actually serious or not.

It’s a brilliant event but it would be really cool to have a live stream of certain parts to allow the spectators to see more of the race/course. Manned points should also carry a track pump and basic spares (inter tube/quick links etc.) to help riders with mechanicals.

The racing is good fun whatever your ability. The beach is not difficult to ride on with only short sections of difficult sand to negotiate. The competitors and marshals are all very friendly. The only criticism was that it wasn’t clear how the start was being handled so it’s worth knowing that when you are led down to the beach in your group then that is your start!

Very well organised, location was fantastic, course was epic and a great atmosphere everywhere! Loved the race format of 3 different routes back to the start to reduce the bottlenecks, that was a winner! My only gripe would be that unless you're gridded and you're a fast rider, there's no chance of catching the lead group. Lined out for a wide beach start would be much better in my opinion.

Having 3 laps differ off the beach was a great idea.

Difficult to do, but maybe sort out a way to stop backup onto single track. But still a great event

The start should be on the beach if you’re going to reduce seeding so much. Having to get down the front an hour before isn’t good.

I've been doing this event ever year since it started, and I've always comeback for more as its such a unique experience. Can't wait for the next one.

Marshalls we're great. well signposted. water should have been provided.

Long queue time for battle in the dark, perhaps gauge interest in entry then seed riders to avoid faster riders coming up behind slower, less confident riders, in the dark too. Potentially some zig zags or corners coned out on beach for first lap to prevent large dangerous group and huge bottleneck off beach.

Friendly for first timers, but make sure you aren't doing the event cold, it is long!

Thank you for helping me to search for another bike. I broke mine before the battle in the dark and the organizer helped us to find a new one (Windover). Without this I would have come to Wales from Belgium for nothing.
